Update - Microsoft has deployed a new version of the fix internally and is currently running it through extensive testing to confirm that it is an effective solution. Microsoft estimates that they will be able to begin deployment by Friday, May 18, 2018.

Identified - Microsoft has identified an issue contained in their fix that was not discovered during testing. Since the issue has the potential to cause a more severe service impact if fully deployed, Microsoft is reverting the fix to prevent any additional impact. Microsoft will produce a new fix that avoids this problem and anticipates that the fix will be ready for deployment by Friday, May 18, 2018.

Update - Microsoft has identified a potential code issue as the source of the credential prompts users are receiving. They have developed a fix and are currently testing it in an internal environment. Once they've confirmed that the fix is a valid solution, they'll deploy it across the affected environment to remediate the problem.

Identified - Information Technology Services (ITS) has been notified by Microsoft that external users (non-USO Users) may experience credential prompts or access errors when trying to access SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business. Microsoft is working to restore full functionality of this system as quickly as possible. As a workaround, affected users can close the credential prompt to access the sites successfully.

Information Technology Services (ITS) will be migrating Shared Services Center (SSC) email accounts from their existing Exchange environment to the University System Office’s (USO) Office 365 Email environment between Monday, May 21, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. and Friday, June 1, 2018 at 5:00 p.m.

While no service interruption is expected for the overall Office 365 system during this period, SSC staff may be unable to access for a brief downtime as their individual accounts are migrated to the new environment. All mail sent to SSC staff will be delivered to their new mailbox.

Non-SSC USO staff will not be impacted.

Scheduled - Virtual Data Center (VDC) customer’s virtual firewalls need to be redeployed prior to Monday, May 21, 2018 in preparation for an upcoming VDC software upgrade (date TBD).

How to redeploy your VDC virtual firewalls:
1. From your Administration screen, click on your Edge Gateways tab
2. Click the Actions icon
3. Click on Re-deploy
4. A dialog will ask “Do you want to redeploy” and it will reference your virtual firewall name. Click Yes
5. You will see Re-deploying edge in the Status column. Once complete, right click on the virtual firewall and click on Edge Gateway Services. You may exit Edge Gateway Services. If you still see an alert in the Status column simply click on the alert and clear it.

The virtual firewall redeployments will take several minutes and will cause a short interruption to outside network access to your virtual machines. If you prefer that ITS redeploy virtual firewalls on your behalf, please contact the ITS Helpdesk to let us know when you would like to schedule your redeployment.
