OneUSG Connect will be unavailable for scheduled maintenance on Monday, May 20, 2019 at 11:00 p.m. until Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 7:00 a.m. During this time, OneUSG Connect (HPROD) and OneUSG Connect – Careers Applicant Portal will not be available. Users will receive a message that will remind them of the scheduled maintenance period and let them know when they can log in to OneUSG Connect again.

KABA Time Clocks and OneUSG Connect - Benefits will be available for use.

An Alma Telephone Company (ATC) vendor will be working on the pair of fiber between South Georgia State College in Douglas (SGA) and the PoP in Baxley (BAX). This will occur on Monday, May 20, 2019 at 11:00 p.m. until Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 7:00 a.m. No outages are expected, but services will run in protect.

Scheduled - Kennesaw State University (KSU) UITS will be performing maintenance to update the infrastructure supporting the university network. This maintenance will occur on Sunday, May 19, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. For those users on-campus, including campus housing, a full outage is expected. Off-campus users will experience intermittent outages. During this time, D2L Brightspace may experience intermittent connectivity and periods of total downtime.

Investigating - Network Support Services (NSS) is investigating reports of a network outage at the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT.RTR). Affected users may not be able to access the internet.

Resolved - After monitoring the system, Network Support Services (NSS) has confirmed that the emergency network maintenance performed overnight has fully restored functionality of the telephone system at the Athens Office.

Monitoring - Network Support Services (NSS) has implemented a temporary network fix to get the phones working again. NSS will be performing emergency maintenance tonight to replace a failed component on the network. We will continue to monitor the system overnight to confirm that the maintenance has resolved all of the issues.

Update - Network Support Services (NSS) has narrowed the network issue affecting the second floor phones at the Athens Office down to a single switch. They are in the process of implementing a fix to resolve the issue. Additional information will be posted here when it becomes available.

Identified - Information Technology Services (ITS) has identified the second floor of the Athens Office is having phone issues as a result of the LAN maintenance completed last night. Phones of affected users may not be able to connect to the network. Additional information will be posted here when it becomes available.

Resolved - Information Technology Services (ITS) has confirmed AT&T has restored full functionality of internet access at the affected schools. The outage was caused by a fiber cut in Pooler County.
