Identified - The Windstream field technician has identified the damage location in Dawson, GA, which was caused by an auto accident. Appropriate repair teams are being engaged to proceed with restoration efforts.

Zayo/ENA is investigating the root cause of the disruptions. There is currently no ETR for resolving the issue, but updates will be posted as they become available.

Information Technology Services (ITS) will be upgrading both Moveit Transfer and Moveit Automation during this maintenance window.

This maintenance will occur on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 11:00 p.m. until Friday, April 3, 2026, at 7:00 a.m.

During this time, MoveIT Managed File Transfer System (files.usg.edu) will be unavailable.

Network Support Services (NSS) will be adding new interfaces into routing as additional protect paths.

Network Support Services (NSS) and Communications Consulting Group (CCG) will be upgrading the wireless access points for the University System Office Trinity Washington location.

The maintenance will occur on Monday, April 6, 2026, starting from 6:00 p.m. until Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 2:00 a.m.

Service interruptions to the wireless network are to be expected but should be restored as the new devices come online.
