During this period, administrators will not be able to access the VDC interface for managing their VDC environments. Virtual machines (VMs) and VM guests will not be affected during this maintenance.

Note: Some Infobase databases that institutions purchase outside of GALILEO are still unavailable at this time. These include World New's Digest and Issues and Controversies in American History.

Monitoring - GALILEO has reported that a workaround has been put in place that has restored access to Films on Demand. You can now access Films on Demand the way you normally do through GALILEO (Express Link: http://www.galileo.usg.edu/express?link=zfod).

InfoBase is still working to bring services up to full capacity. We will send out an “all clear” once we receive word from Infobase that the issue has been resolved and services are back to normal.

Note: The workaround is not in place for other Infobase subscriptions, just Films on Demand. If you subscribe to another Infobase product outside of GALILEO, access to those are still unavailable until the issue is resolved.

Identified - GALILEO has identified that access to Films on Demand is unavailable due to an unforeseen error that has impacted the Infobase servers. There is no estimated time of resolution at this time, but we are working closely with Films on Demand to obtain updates.

NOTE: Some GALILEO institutions subscribe to other Infobase products locally. These resources are also impacted by this outage.

Scheduled - Information Technology Services (ITS) will be conducting scheduled maintenance of PSQUEST on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. The purpose of this maintenance is only to change PSQUEST account passwords. New passwords will be applied to all GeorgiaFIRST PSQUEST accounts as of the New Passwords Effective Date/Time, which is approximately 8:00 am on October 17, 2018. (The PSQUEST account is used for a database-level connection to the PeopleSoft Financials databases, FPROD and FPLAY, data extraction, and reporting purposes.)

Note: Only PSQUEST access to FPROD and FPLAY is affected during this maintenance window. FPROD and FPLAY will still be available for web access.

The PeopleSoft security administrator from each institution should contact the ITS Helpdesk to request the new PSQUEST password, which is available now. The ITS Helpdesk will provide the password only to the authorized PeopleSoft security administrator for your institution.

You should not attempt to use your institution’s PSQUEST account during this maintenance window. If you have any automated scripts, you should take steps to ensure that they do not run during this maintenance window.

Any institution-specific applications, processes or scripts that use the PSQUEST account (pqst###) will need to be updated to reflect the new password as of the New Passwords Effective Date/Time shown above.

- Use PIN Number 35449, when prompted, for Board of Regents Managed Services.
