PeachNet Scheduled Maintenance - Firewall Updates for ARCH Apr 14, 2026 17:00 - Apr 15, 2026 07:00 EDT

Network Support Services (NSS) will be installing new firewalls at the Georgia Archives (ARCH) facility in Morrow GA and decommissioning the existing firewalls. This maintenance will occur on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. until Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 7:00 a.m.

Users on the Archives network will not have access to the internet as the firewalls are reconfigured and interfaces moved. The exact length of downtime is unknown but should be brief unless problems requiring troubleshooting are encountered during the move.

PeachNet Cloud Backup will be performing an Avamar security patch upgrade that will affect the PeachNet Cloud Backups Service.

Identified - The Windstream field technician has identified the damage location in Dawson, GA, which was caused by an auto accident. Appropriate repair teams are being engaged to proceed with restoration efforts.
