The Alma Telephone Company (ATC) will be relocating a section of fiber in Alma between South Georgia State College: Douglas (SGA2) and Baxley PoP (BAX) due to a DOT bridge replacement project.

This maintenance will occur on Monday, October 28, 2019 from 11:00 p.m. until Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 7:00 a.m. During the maintenance, services will run in protect.

PeopleSoft Financials Update 5.50 will be applied from Thursday, November 21, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. to Monday, November 25, 2019 at 7:00 a.m. This Oracle annual maintenance includes the following:

- Database Upgrade 12c to 12.2
- PeopleSoft Update Images 9.2.028 – 9.2.032
- New enhancements and functionality

The following applications are not available during this scheduled maintenance window:

ACTION NEEDED: In preparation for this release, the institution should take the following steps:

Scheduled - Alma Telephone Company (ATC) will be performing scheduled maintenance on a section of fiber between Douglas & Waycross. This will occur on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 11:00 p.m. until Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 6:00 a.m. One of the fiber connections between the South Georgia State College Douglas and Waycross campuses will be affected. However, both campuses are on a protected ring and services will continue to run via a protected path. No outages are expected.

Investigating - Information Technology Services (ITS) is reporting multiple K-12 network outages. ITS has contacted AT&T to determine the cause, and escalate the issue with their repair center.
