Service Degradation - K12 Multi Site Packet Loss Due To Fiber Cut
Resolved - Network Support Services (NSS) has confirmed that the fiber cut has been repaired and and no further disruptions are expected.

Update - The fiber was spliced on both ends without restoring the upstream path. The initial reburns on the repaired fibers did not bring levels within spec, and the splice team is traveling to the other end of the new cable to perform fault isolation and troubleshoot for restoration. We are awaiting an ETR and will remain engaged with field teams until all alarms and services have been restored.

Identified - Several DOE locations are experiencing significant packet loss due to a major fiber cut upstream from the customer sites, causing intermittent issues. Field teams are on-site and working on splicing for repairs. We are awaiting an estimated time of repair (ETR) and will stay engaged with the field teams until we receive a hand-off notification and all alarms are cleared.

Identified - Alma Telephone Company is sending a tech for the Brunswick (BRU) Linear span fiber break. The fiber break started at 1:40 p.m. Apogee services are down for Brunswick.

BRU is running on the backup line at this time, and Boldyn (Apogee) services to the College of Coastal Georgia are down.
