Network Support Services (NSS) will be applying a hotfix to the firewalls at the DB300/UGA unified datacenter (DPA/DPB), to address a CVE published by Palo Alto Networks.

This maintenance will occur on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 11:00 p.m. until Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 7:00 a.m.

This maintenance is not service affecting. All affected firewalls are in high-availability pairs and will be upgraded one member of the pair at a time to avoid downtime. It is possible there could be some momentary connectivity issues on the primary USG VPN (vpn.bor.usg.edu). The secondary USG VPN (tvpn.bor.usg.edu) will not be affected.
