Scheduled Maintenance- Network Support Services - Firewall

Network Support Services (NSS) will be updating several interface connections on the switches and firewalls in the Shared Services Center (SSC) network from 1 gigabit to 10 gigabit speed.

Redundant power supply units will also be added to each firewall (SSCPA & SSCPB) to enhance redundancy.

Scheduled Maintenance will begin Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. until Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 7:00 a.m.

Firewall updates will be done sequentially to avoid downtime. As interface optics to services inside the network are changed, there will be brief outages to those services, primarily Data Domain services and DNS/NTP/DHCP services managed by the Bluecat device.
