Optical Line System Maintenance

Network Support Services (NSS) will be restarting an optical line system card in the Central ring to address errors seen on some services following maintenance performed by a fiber vendor.

This maintenance will occur on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 11:00 p.m. until Wednesday, September 30, at 7:00 a.m.

No disruption of services is expected from this work. The protect/backup path for schools in the Southwest, Southeast, and Augusta rings will be briefly impacted during this window.
