Systems Support Services (SSS) will be deploying a critical upgrade for the SAN cluster at the University of Georgia from Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

The upgrade will resolve a bug in the operating system that could lead to possible data loss in our storage area network. The SAN at DB300 does host our production applications, however the SAN appliances as well as the upgrade process are designed to allow the SAN to always remain available without any production downtime.

This maintenance is not service affecting.
