System Support Services (SSS) will be updating the firmware for the UCS switches that manage our virtualization compute environment at UGA.
This maintenance will occur on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
We will be patching the Fiber Interconnect switches that manage all the compute for our virtual environment at our DR site in UGA’s datacenter. The Fiber Interconnects are a fully redundant pair with one always up while the other is being patched and rebooted. This is a routine procedure that Systems performs regularly. Furthermore, since this is primarily our disaster recovery environment, no production services will be impacted.
