Network Support Services (NSS) will be applying a hotfix to the firewalls at the DB300 Datacenter (DPA/DPB) and our 56 Marietta location (TPA/TPB), to address CVEs published by Palo Alto Networks.

This maintenance will occur from Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 11:00 p.m. until Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 7:00 a.m.

IMPACT: None expected. All affected firewalls are in high-availability pairs and will be upgraded one member of the pair at a time to avoid downtime. There could be momentary disconnects from the primary VPN (vpn.bor.usg.edu) and the secondary VPN (tvpn.bor.usg.edu) during the upgrade process, but this is not expected.
