Network Support Services (NSS) will be applying a hotfix to the Firewalls located at the University System Office (USOPA/USOPB), Shared Services Center (SSCPA/SSCPB), and the Georgia Film Academy and Assembly Studios (GFAPA/GFAPB & GFAASPA/GFAASPB) sites, in order to address CVEs published by Palo Alto Networks.
Scheduled Maintenance will occur on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. until Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 7:00 a.m. The two GFA sites will start after 9:00 p.m. to avoid any potential conflicts with the sites' class schedules.
The affected firewalls are in high-availability pairs and will be upgraded one member of the pair at a time to avoid downtime. No outages or downtime are expected.
