Network Support Services (NSS) will be applying a hotfix to the firewalls at the 56 Marietta Network location (TPA/TPB), to address a CVE published by Palo Alto Networks.

The maintenance will occur from Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 11:00 p.m. until Friday, May 29, 2026, at 7:00 a.m.

No impact expected. All affected firewalls are in high-availability pairs and will be upgraded one member of the pair at a time to avoid downtime. It is possible there could be some momentary connectivity issues on the secondary VPN (tvpn.bor.usg.edu).
