Information Technology Services (ITS) is planning to upgrade the Avamar Server which provides the PeachNet Cloud Backups Service. We will install Avamar target code v19.10 SP1. We are currently scheduled with Dell to perform the upgrade on Thursday May 8, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. During this time the service may not be available for backups or restores.
Once we have confirmed a successful upgrade, we will then be able to upgrade the agents and/or proxies that you use for backups. As we have done in the past, we can push out updates to your agents, or you can update them on your own. We will reach out to customers individually to arrange a time that works best for you.
For those of you with proxy based backups, we will have to work with you to get the proxies upgraded. It may be required for you to re-deploy the proxies in your vCenter. We will provide more information about that process and also provide the link to download the new proxy installers.
