Issues with ITS Helpdesk Email Address Reported

The ITS Service Desk has not received any further reports of 'Undeliverable' email when sending to helpdesk@usg.edu. We've confirmed through testing that the issue has been resolved. If you experience problems when sending email to helpdesk@usg.edu, please feel free to contact the ITS Service Desk at (706) 583-2001
Monitoring
Information Technology Services (ITS) has identified that individuals who sent email to helpdesk@usg.edu) between approximately 10:40 a.m. and 12:20 p.m. on Thursday, February 9 had their messages returned as Undeliverable.
ITS Systems administrators have corrected the underlying email issue that was preventing delivery. Email to helpdesk@usg.edu should be delivered normally at this time, but we will continue to monitor the situation throughout the day.
In addition, the ITS Helpdesk is able to identify all affected customers and will be reaching out to each of them this afternoon to address any outstanding issues.
