Network Support Services (NSS) will be applying a hotfix to the firewalls at the Shared Services Center (SSC), University System Office (USO), Georgia Film Academy (GFA), and GFA Assembly Studios (GFAAS) to address a CVE published by Palo Alto Networks.
This maintenance will occur from Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. until Friday, May 22, 2026, at 7:00 a.m.
USO and SSC upgrades will begin at 6:00 p.m.
GFA and GFAAS upgrades will begin at 9:15 p.m. to avoid any potential conflict with active classes.
No impact expected. All affected firewalls are in high-availability pairs and will be upgraded one member of the pair at a time to avoid downtime.
